A great lunch while grinding at work! They were nice enough to deliver. Food is hit and fresh. Would give more stars if I could
Overview
Walking into Fuda Sushi, Hibachi & Chinese Restaurant at 480 Daleville Hwy, Covington Township, PA 18444, United States feels like stepping into a place that knows its regulars. Iβve eaten here with family on busy Friday nights and slipped in solo for quiet weekday lunches, and the experience holds steady. The staff remembers faces, water glasses donβt sit empty, and the menu reads like a greatest-hits list of Japanese sushi, sizzling hibachi, and classic Chinese comfort dishes that locals actually crave.
The menu is broad, yet thoughtfully organized. Sushi lovers gravitate toward fresh rolls with clean cuts and balanced rice, while sashimi arrives chilled and neatly plated. On my last visit, I watched the sushi chef work through a steady line of orders, rinsing rice and wiping the board between rolls, a small process detail that matters for freshness and food safety. According to USDA guidelines on seafood handling, proper cold storage and clean prep surfaces reduce risk, and that care shows up here in taste and texture. Regulars often recommend the spicy tuna roll and eel avocado, and reviews frequently mention consistency, which is harder to maintain than creativity.
Hibachi nights are where the room comes alive. The grills sizzle, knives flash, and the chefβs rhythm keeps everyone engaged without dragging the meal out. Iβve brought out-of-town friends who expected a show and left talking about the food instead. Proteins are cooked to request, vegetables keep a bite, and the fried rice lands fluffy rather than greasy. The process is straightforward but practiced: pre-heated grill, portioned ingredients, quick seasoning, and constant motion. That efficiency matters on busy nights, especially when families fill the tables.
Chinese favorites anchor the comfort side of the menu. Dishes like General Tsoβs chicken and beef with broccoli come out hot, with sauces that cling instead of pooling. A neighbor once told me they order takeout weekly because it travels well, and that tracks with my experience. Portions hold up, rice stays separated, and noodles donβt turn mushy. Online reviews often praise value and speed, which aligns with what Iβve seen during lunch rushes when orders stack up and still leave the kitchen promptly.
What sets this place apart is how it fits into daily life in Covington Township. Itβs not just a special-occasion stop; itβs where youth teams celebrate wins and coworkers grab quick lunches. The location on Daleville Highway makes it easy to pop in, and parking is simple even at peak hours. The dining room is clean and casual, the kind of place where jeans feel right and kids are welcome.
Thereβs also a quiet professionalism behind the scenes. Food safety practices follow common standards recommended by organizations like the FDA and USDA, and staff are quick to adjust for allergies or preferences when asked. That said, like many neighborhood spots, the space can feel lively and a bit loud during hibachi service, which may not suit every diner. On rare occasions, wait times stretch during holiday weekends, so calling ahead helps.
Iβve heard people describe the place as family-friendly, reliable takeout, and worth the drive, phrases that show up again and again in local chatter. Those words fit because the experience doesnβt hinge on trends. Itβs about steady execution, approachable flavors, and a menu that gives everyone at the table a win. For diners scanning reviews, checking locations, and weighing options, this restaurant earns trust by doing the basics right, night after night.

A diamond found in the wilderness. The food and service were top notch in both quality and quantity. Looking forward to coming back.
I love this place, convient location, great prices, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful check out gal, great food hot and ready for take out. Can't wait to eat inside. Sooooooo gooooooood!!!!! You will never be disappointed eating here
FuDa was great. We ordered the shrimp hibachi and steak and chicken Hibachi. I loved the fried rice, but my shrimp was more on the chewy side. Each order came with a soup and a salad. I had the orange flavored ramune soda which was amazing. I would definitely come back again, our server was very helpful and kind. The resturant looked very clean.
Dined here for the second time. I had the Dragon and Phoenix. Very beautiful dining area. Service was top notch. Overall great experience on both visits. I had the orange chicken today and it was very tasty. I ordered it extra spicy.
The manager is not friendly to Google guides. Our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered 3 classic Chinese dishes and they were done well considering that they are in rural Pennsylvania.
